Ms.
Edwards joined Gulf South Research Corporation in November 2013 and has 8 years
of cultural resources management and historic preservation experience working
on projects within Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi, Texas, Florida, New York,
and Cuba. These projects have included Section 100 and 106 architectural
assessment surveys; viewshed surveys; determinations of eligibility and
effects, documentation, and reports; guidance of architects and contractors in
the restoration and/or redevelopment of multiple French Quarter properties;
Historic American Building Survey (HABS) drawings of St. Bernard, Louisiana,
historic Jackson Barracks (both hand-drawn and CAD); restoration of historic
tombs in several of New Orleans’ National Register of Historic Places (NRHP)
listed cemeteries; and restoration of historic houses in and around New
Orleans. Ms. Edwards’ experience exceeds the requirements of the
Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for Historic Preservation for
Architectural Historians.

Ms. Edwards received a Master of Preservation Studies Degree from the School of Architecture at Tulane University in 2009.
